More than just the most visible stop arm in the world

Out with the old in with the new
The FISA is designed for easy replacement of your existing stop arms. The mounting holes and electrical connection are all compatible to the industry standard.
More than just the most visible stop arm in the world
Universal Flash/Strobe
One part number for both flash and strobe models, which allows for a quick and easy switch from flash to strobe.
Watertight LED Lights
LEDs contained within single watertight sealed enclosure, eliminating water intrusion.
Designed for Efficiency
Containing only LEDs and resistors, our flashers/strobes are powered by an external power supply which allows for easy access and diagnosis. This also reduces service and replacement costs.
Wires are internally routed through the hinge center eliminating bending of wires which results in increased life.
The motor controller monitors power consumption to detect and adjust for obstructions. Mech-anical and electrical components are protected from damage in case of an obstruction reducing the probability of motor failure.
Stop Arm position is monitored by feedback from the motor’s internal sensors sealed within the motor. If forced out of position our Stop Arm will return parallel to the bus wall when closed, and perpendicular when deployed.

Why choose the FISA

- Operating Temperature: -40°F to +185°F
- Operating Voltage: 9-18 VDC
- Standards: IP67 Rated, FMVSS 131, FMVSS 111
- Quick replacement of LED Lights
- Our lights are easily disconnected at a junction behind the light fixture
- Industry standard requires the wires to be disconnected and removed from the drive enclosure
- Easily removeable and replaceable illuminated STOP octagons
- Estimated time – 15-20 minutes
- LED light drivers are contained within a single watertight sealed enclosure, which allows for easy access and diagnosis
- Industry standard has LED drivers within the light fixtures, meaning the light will need replacement if either the LED’s or the driver fails. Additionally, the condition of the LED driver and the LEDs cannot be assessed since it is contained in the light and is not accessible
- Motor and controller are independent and can be replaced separately
- Industry standard uses an integrated motor which means the motor and controller must be replaced together
- Yes, our stop arms meet the applicable requirements of Title 49 Part 571 Standard 131 of the Code of Federal Regulations, also referred to as FMVSS 131
- All stop arms are also equipped with both flash and strobing light modes for compliance with local or state regulations
- Yes, we have both electric and air versions available. The mounting hole patterns have been matched to ease installation. The electrical connections required are power, ground, and door signal
- For air versions the power and door signal may be joined to allow for a two-wire connection
- The time to install will vary based on your buses current equipment condition and model. For a single stop arm, the estimated time is 20 to 30 minutes
- 3 years mechanical
- 5 years illumination

- 5A – Air operated version
- 10A – Electric version
- Your stop arm is currently in flashing mode. Please refer to our installation instructions for your model for how to set the lighting mode to strobe
