Production Controller
Ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, the Production Controller is highly organized, detail oriented, and responsible. You will liaison with multiple departments to execute the manufacturing plan in a timely, safe, and effective manner with quality top of mind. You enjoy solving problems and working in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will make an impact on the safety of many lives with our patented illuminated school bus safety equipment.
HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT
- Manage and report on daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure that orders are executed on time and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues and adjust manufacturing plan, as needed.
- Ensure that regulations and quality standards are met.
- Assist with training and supervising production team members.
- Work with Materials Planner to monitor inventory levels and action, as required.
- Track and report production metrics and performance.
- Take ownership of inventory control and management.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in electronics manufacturing).
- 5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and operations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience working with Netsuite ERP, an asset.
- Familiarity with ESD Handling is preferred.
- Strong organization skills.
- Experience with inventory control.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
